Brenda Driscoll made the decision to move out of her village home of 30 years.

She was looking for somewhere not too far away and where she can live for many years to come.

When she saw her one-bedroom apartment at Antler Homes' development, Bishop's Field, Maidstone, she knew that it was right for her as it is in a perfect location and the apartment was bright and spacious.

"Downsizing is a difficult choice for many people as they want less rooms and maintenance, but they want a feeling of space," said Tim Foreman, of Antler Homes.

"Our apartments at Bishops Field have well proportioned, light and airy rooms so they are perfect for people who want a low-maintenance lifestyle in a semi-rural location not far from the town centre."

Brenda sold her home in Marden in just under two weeks and was soon on her way to Bishop's Field.

"I knew that this was the right thing to do," said Brenda.

"It's perfect, I look out over a well maintained park and fields and yet it is within walking distance of the town centre. I love the fact that the apartment has so much space. I have the best of both worlds here."

There is a selection of two bedroom apartments now available, offering an open plan kitchen, living and dining room, a master bedroom with en suite, a second bedroom and a shower room.

Prices are from £139,950. For more information ring 01622 683 737 or see http://www.antlerhomes.co.uk/
