The number of people listening to kmfm has increased by 13,000 over the past six months, official figures reveal today.
The results, released by measuring body RAJAR, show the station's audience jumped by a huge 8%.
That means 173,000 adults now tune in every week. People are listening for longer too, tuning in for an average of 6.6 hours every week.
Garry and Laura - hosts of kmfm Breakfast - have secured their biggest audience since the show launched. They have welcomed 9,000 new listeners, giving them an average audience of 89,000.
And you can now watch them as well listen to them every day on KMTV, which broadcasts on Channel 7 on Freeview in the Maidstone, Medway and Tonbridge area and on Virgin Channel 159 across Kent.
KM Group editorial director Ian Carter said: "It's great to see so many more people listening to kmfm.
"It's a great reflection on both the team and the listeners, who play a big part in the station's success - whether that's through our on-air games and competitions or keeping us informed about the latest travel news."
