Huge plumes of smoke could be seen billowing in the sky near homes last night after a fire broke out in a cabin and quickly spread.
The blaze in King Edward Road, Maidstone, started at about 11pm.
Pictures show a large amount of smoke filling the sky near trees and houses, with residents reportedly hearing “lots of sirens” in the area.
Firefighters were called and attended the scene to put out the flames.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Three fire engines attended and crews used main reel and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which had also spread to a nearby shed, fence and trees.
“There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.”
