Hundreds of people have turned out for a march today in protest against the proposed Kent International Gateway.
Around 1,500 people are said to have joined the protest, along with Leader Paul Carter and MP Hugh Robertson.
They met at Bearsted Green and walked to the possible site.
Developers want to build the road to rail freight depot on more than 250 acres of land near Bearsted.
