As the county's newest pupils spend their first days and weeks in school - we have captured those special moments for a wonderful keepsake.
The first school term of the new school year is now well underway and hundreds of four and five-year-olds are making tentative steps into the world of learning.
Our photographers have criss-crossed the county, to capture the moments which will stay with these youngsters and their parents forever.
Once again we have brought all of these pictures together for our hugely popular First Class specials.
The colourful, brilliant annual supplements, which could be held in memory boxes for years to come, will be available from this Wednesday, October 9 inside your local KM paid-for newspaper.
These include the Kent Messenger, Medway Messenger, Gravesend and Dartford Messengers, Sheerness Times Guardian, Sittingbourne News, Kentish Gazette, Kentish Express, East Kent Mercury, and the Folkestone and Hythe Express.
The number of school which took part this year is more than 440 and if you are not sure if your child's school took part, click here to find out.
You can also buy a copy of that photograph for a lasting keepsake, or to send to a relative or friend, by clicking here.
