A prolific thief has been jailed for two-and-a-half years after admitting at least 20 burglaries across Medway.
Brendon Campbell, 25, of White Road, Chatham, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court last Thursday.
He pleaded guilty to a break in at a home in Cedar Road, Strood and admitted 19 others across the Towns.
Campbell, who is thought to have worked with other criminals, targeted homes where people owned expensive electronics and valuable cars.
It is estimated the value of the stolen cars alone was in the region of £80,000.
At his sentencing Judge Griffith-Jones said: “The offences were planned with a team, you being the eldest and by inference, the leader.
“The effects go far beyond the loss of valuables; it is the violation of a home.”
Detective Constable Mike Seager, who led the investigation added: “We are pleased with the sentence given and hope it will act as a deterrent to other would be criminals.
“Fortunately the number of burglaries in Medway continues to fall, with just two being committed every day."
