The trial of a Scottish man accused of murdering a teenager whose body was found in a Margate garden has been halted.
Peter Tobin, from Johnstone, Renfrewshire has fallen ill and requires surgery so the jury at Chelmsford Crown Court has been discharged.
The 62-year-old denies abducting and murdering Dinah McNicol from Tillingham, Essex, in 1991.
The 18-year-old's remains were found at a house in Irvine Drive, Margate in November 2007.
Lawyers say a new hearing will start on December 14.
