Kent athletes triumph in Sittingbourne Rotary 10k

Ben Louch of Dartford Road Runners and Sarah Anne Mooney of Larkfield AC were the main prize winners at the Sittingbourne Rotary 10k on Sunday.
Louch (34.15) (pictured) was over a minute clear of Buzz Shephard (35.24) of Dulwich Road Runners and Mark Wilkins (35.45) of Invicta East Kent, as 200 finishers crossed the line.
Simon Parrin (38.42) of Istead & Ifield ran a personal best time in 10th place overall.
The masters’ award winners were M40 David Weekes (37.03) of Folkestone, M50 Martyn Sedge (37.40) of Sittingbourne and M60 Martyn Rouse (42.53) of Invicta East Kent.
Mooney (40.59) was even more dominant in the women’s race as Barbara Wenman (W50, 43.30) of Canterbury Harriers and Abi Johnson (W35, 44.00) of Larkfield AC completed the podium.
