While the county may still see thunderstorms and showers, the warning is no longer needed.

The Met Office said at the time of issuing the warning, the storm may cause some localised disruption including driving conditions.

They also warned drivers would be impacted by spray, standing water and/or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus while delays to train services were also possible.

Met Office Bosses also said there was a chance of some damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes, large hail or strong winds.

Some short-term loss of power and other services was also possible.
