Kent Comet stores set to close today

Comet in Gravesend is among those due to shut today
Three Kent Comet stores are set to trade for the last time today, it's been revealed.
The stores in Gravesend, Folkestone and Canterbury are among 125 stores listed for closure around the UK.
It comes after administrators at Deloitte confirmed the last trading day after failing to find a buyer for the stricken electricals chain.
Stores in Margate and Tunbridge Wells have already closed. The Maidstone store remains open for the time being.
Before it collapsed into administration, Comet - which has been badly hit by online competition and the economic downturn - had 240 stores and around 6,000 staff.
It was bought for just £2 less than a year ago by private investment firm OpCapita. But it is thought to have made losses of £35million.
