Kent is set to shiver over a sub-zero weekend - with forecasters warning of icy road conditions.
The Met Office has today issued a cold weather warning for the county as temperatures are set to plunge.
It says outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow across the south east will clear into Saturday evening.
As temperatures in Kent then tumble to lows of minus three Celsius, the risk of freezing showers and icy roads will increase.
Sleet and snow showers are then predicted for some areas of the county on Monday.
Kent's gritters will be out in force, but motorists are advised to take extra care.
