This tiny kitten was rescued by the RSPCA after being found living in a small gap between two walls, 12-feet down.

The kitten – nicknamed Angel by the charity – was discovered in the gap between the walls near the cemetery and the chip shop in High Street, Minster.

RSPCA cat neutering clinic manager Nicky Honey managed to get the kitten out – who is only a few weeks old.

Nicky said: “She was very tired and hungry and clearly frightened from having fallen down from the wall and being stuck there for a while. She also had an injured paw from where she had been trapped.”

Angel will be cared for by the RSPCA until she is well enough to be found a new home.

Nicky added: “Unfortunately, because not enough people are getting their cats neutered we are finding more and more kittens that are unwanted and getting themselves into trouble. Neutering is so important.”
