Kmfm presenter Emma Adam has welcomed a cracking new World Cup psychic to the breakfast show

The kmfm breakfast show presenters have welcomed an egg-citing new addition to the ranks.
Ethel Welpeck, the World Cup psychic chicken made her debut to the show by correctly predicting the outcome of the England v. Italy match.
She will be providing regular prophecies throughout the World Cup and Kent listeners will nervously wait for her big prediction for the final on Sunday July 13.
Emma Adam, kmfm breakfast presenter and Ethel's loyal human companion, said: "Ethel has always been my favourite girl in the henhouse and I’ve always felt she has something a little extra special about her.
"She even once predicted my lotto numbers!! I didn’t win anything, but she was only a couple of digits out on each number. She’ll really add some extra flavour to the show and I know Kent will enjoy her video updates.”
Fellow presenter Garry Wilson added: "When Emma told me she had a psychic chicken I thought she was yolking, but Ethel is proving to be a great addition to the show, making our World Cup coverage that little bit more meaty.
"I think we’ve really cracked it. She’s a very friendly, calm chicken, so I know she won’t get in a flap during those crucial moments on air." - Garry Wilson
"It can get quite crowded in the studio as we’re cooped up together all morning, so her gentle clucks will be quite soothing.”
However, Gary still has some concerns: “Some days I feel a little hen-pecked spending all morning with Emma & I’m certain this can only get worse.”
Listen to kmfm Breakfast with Garry & Emma to hear Ethel’s updates and keep your eyes peeled for her video updates on the kmfmofficial facebook page.
Ethel is tweeting as well as clucking, on @WorldCupChicken.
