Labour minister Bill Esterson says small business are 'the backbone of the economy' in Kent

A leading politician has told small businesses in Kent they are "the backbone of the economy".
The shadow labour minister for innovation and skills, Bill Esterson, visited a number of companies in Medway, where he grew up.
He called for better broadband, infrastructure and access to skills to help them be successful.
