A mum and her ex-boyfriend found guilty of murdering her toddler son near Faversham have been sentenced to life in prison.

27-year-old Sian Hedges from Yelverton in Devon - and 35 year-old Jack Benham from Highstreet Road in Hernhill killed 18 month-old Alfie Phillips at a caravan in 2020.

The sentencing was broadcast live in a first for any court in Kent. Hear what the judge had to say.
