Reporter Ellis Stephenson takes a look at what was most read this year between May and August. There's everything from a hot cross bun with a different sort of message to a 100ft Theresa May in Dover.

Our first story for May is one about an academy being put into lockdown. Pupils at the Leigh Academy in Dartford were told to stay inside the building by police after a man was seen acting in a threatening manner.
A hot cross bun with a unique message was spotted in a Sheppey supermarket. One shopper snapped the product which, instead of its traditional cross, had an imprint of 'I want your sex'. Tesco apologised and said it was down to an over-creative employee.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of neglect in Tontine Street, Folkestone. It came as reports emerged of a toddler falling from a third floor window.
Election results started to pour in for which Kent County Council candidates residents wanted to see in office. We had all the live coverage as the ballots were counted the day following the polls, unlike the general election where the votes were tallied straight after the voting booths closed.
June was marked by the news that a woman had been hurt while in her car in a shopping centre car park. Molly McLaren died at the scene and her boyfriend was arrested. Joshua Stimpson is due in court charged with her murder in January.
Now, it's not every day that you see a large structure on the White Cliffs of Dover. So when you see pictures of a 100ft tall statue of Theresa May flicking the bird at those across the English Channel, you tend to ask some questions. Paddy Power later took credit for the stunt.
In Canterbury a man was spotted with a knife. Things got more serious when it was reported that he had been seen driving at youngsters. Armed police were called.
Over in Maidstone a stunned security guard foiled a pervert’s plan after he found a hidden camera in a public toilet.

Many people were left upset in July when traffic was held for a lorry fire on the A2. If you weren't upset by the delays then you would've been weeping over the loss of the hundreds of chocolate bars which were on board at the time.
Video emerged of a fight breaking out at McDonald's. Police launched an appeal after a man was stabbed in the incident in Gravesend.
Homeowners in Kent were left counting the cost of a flash storm which hit in Tunbridge Wells.
August was marked with a warning from Kent Police about a chemical haze appearing on the county's coastline. It was thought around 150 people were affected by the mist with people's eyes, mouth and throats being irritated.
A business announced it would close, leaving 260 people out of work. Southern Salads was based in Tonbridge and blamed a range of factors for the family-run firm's demise.
Armed police were called to a Wetherspoons pub in Faversham. It was reported a man had walked into the boozer with a gun.
The parents of a five-month-old boy were found guilty of causing his death. Katherine Cox and Danny Shepherd were sentenced in November.
And to top it all of the Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre paid a visit to Medway. The trip was shrouded in secrecy as it was a planned surprise for one person who would receive a free rennovation by the 60 Minute Makeover Team, who were filming in the area for the ITV show.
Don't forget to check back with us tomorrow for the final instalment of our review of the year, where we'll look at when we revealed the best and worst places to live in Kent.
