M20 reopens following police incident between Ashford and Hythe

Part of the M20 was closed in both directions this morning after a distressed man was spotted on the motorway.
Officers shut the motorway between junction 9 for Ashford and junction 10 for Hythe at around 3.10am.
Traffic was being diverted via the A20.
Drivers were being warned to expect congestion at junctions 9 and 10.
All lanes of the motorway reopened just before 6am after being closed for just under two hours.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to reports of a distressed man on the M20 between junctions 9 and 10 at 1.59am on Thursday, August 29.
"To ensure public safety, a full road closure was enforced before officers brought the man to safety at around 5.10am.
"He has since been handed into the care of medical professionals.
"The road was fully open by 5.20am."
