Major wood fire

Kent fire crews have been tackling a major blaze at a wood storage yard near Ashford.
Around 60 firefighters have been at the blaze in Bethersden Road in Woodchurch since around 11pm last night.
The store, which contained around 300 tonnes of wood suffered major damage. Others included buildings with equipment and a diesel storage tank.
But fire crews managed to stop the fire spreading to surrounding buildings and machinery.
The wood store suffered extensive damage after the fire, the cause of which is not yet known.
