Help put a smile on children’s faces this festive season.

kmfm has launched its Shed Load of Toys appeal, with the aim of making Christmas special for young people facing difficult situations in Kent.

Teaming up with Skinners Sheds, the radio station is asking you to buy an extra toy when shopping and drop it off at one of the many Skinners Sheds across the county, at any of the kmfm Christmas light events or at one of the KM offices.

For children who are unwell, in care or in families struggling to make ends meet, getting a gift can mean the world to them.

kmfm wants to make this year's campaign bigger and better than ever, with as many children as possible receiving a present.

It doesn't matter how big or small the toy is - every little helps.

Last year's appeal was a huge success.

More than 1,000 toys were given to children facing a difficult Christmas thanks to the generosity of the people of Kent.

Medway Hospital, Canterbury Hospital, Canterbury Social Services, KCC Social Services at Joynes House in Gravesend, QEQM Hospital in Margate and the Homestart charity were among those to receive bundles of goodies which were then distributed to either families or children they knew were are in need of support and kindness.

You can drop off your toys at any of the Skinners Sheds locations listed below by Friday, December 6:

kmfm asks you do not wrap the toys, so the team can make sure they are matched with a child of an appropriate age.

They are also unable to accept second hand toys or those which contain sweets, chocolate or any other confectionery.

The Shed Load of Toys campaign will run from November 11 to December 8.
