Man, 70, dies after car hits railings in Dover

A man has been killed after the car he was driving hit railings in Dover.
The 70-year-old died on the A20 Townwall Street yesterday morning.
The crash happened at just before 5am when the green VW Golf, which was travelling away from the docks, hit railings.
The driver, from Dover, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kent Police do not believe any other vehicles were involved.
The London-bound carriageway was closed until 8.50am while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Witnesses to the crash are asked to phone the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
