Dreamland, Brands Hatch and Port Lympne among quirky places to get married in Kent
00:01, 13 October 2015
Couples looking to tie the knot can officially get hitched at Dreamland.
The amusement park offers couples the chance to get married with the atmosphere of vintage seaside fun and frolics.
There's no other place like it in Kent, where wedding guests can show their inner child and hop on the retro-fitted rides and amusements.
Newlyweds can even celebrate their first dance on skates in the roller disco.
We've made a list of some of the other quirky wedding venues in Kent where couples can make it official.
Brands Hatch
Not only is Brands Hatch home to a grand prix circuit, but you can also hire it out for weddings.
Motor sport romantics will be pleased to know they can exchange their vows with a view of the 1.3 mile indy circuit.
You can even have some snaps taken on the winners' podium.
Hazlitt Arts Centre
Just a few minutes walk from Archbishops Palace registry office, the Hazlitt Theatre is an ideal location to take the plunge.
Once the pair officially marry, they can choose one of the centre's four venues, with capacity ranging from 353 in theatre-style seating to a more intimate 20.
Port Lympne Wild Animal Park
It may sound odd to some to get married in a zoo, but Port Lympne's idyllic mansion is a popular wedding venue.
It's a place which makes you feel at one with nature as you make your way to the mansion via the monkey enclosure.
The venue's walls are intricately painted with some of the park's most iconic animals.
Not only that, but guests can get up close and personal with the wildlife with a private safari.
Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway
Though you can't officially get married on the train as the moving carriage isn't classed as a permanent location, the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is definitely a quirky place to celebrate the ceremony.
Not many newlyweds would travel to their reception alongside their guests, but couples who get hitched in New Romney can take a train to Hythe for a reception in the Tea Room.
Shepherd Neame Brewery
An historic 15th century function room with a licence for ceremonies sounds like a great venue - plus the added bonus there would be plenty of drink to go round!
There's a cosy and comfortable atmosphere for both ceremonies and parties, with superb food and service.
For those with larger wedding parties, the brewery's recently developed venue - The Old Brewery Store - is now available for wedding ceremonies, receptions and parties.
This one is perfect for the art lovers waiting to get married, it's got room for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and receptions.
The gallery is not only a unique setting but guests will be looking out to a stunning backdrop of the sea.
The Old Lighthouse
Probably one of the most romantic places to tie the knot, The Old Lighthouse in Dungeness is an alternative for small weddings and civil partnerships.
Opened the Prince of Wales in 1904, the landmark offers views across the English Channel.
Newlyweds can discover the magic and romance of timeless Dungeness in this historic building.
Willesborough Windmill
This beautiful windmill is the perfect scene for a romantic wedding.
The ceremony takes place on the ground floor of the mill, with opportunity for stunning pictures with the backdrop of the Wye downs and Willesborough.
