A batch of Quorn Meat Free Mince is being recalled as it may contain small pieces of metal.

The products were sold in Tesco between Monday, February 27 and Wednesday, March 1 and have the batch code 136331.

The 300g pack sized products also have the best before date of August 31, 2018.

Although products with the same batch code were sold at retailers other than Tesco, these were not affected.

If customers find they have the product, they are urged not to eat it as it may pose a safety risk.

Instead, customers are asked to return it to the store it was bought from in return for a full refund.
