Dartford closed on the Ryman League Premier Division title with a 2-1 win over Canvey Island at Princes Park on Monday.

Elliot Bradbrook and Danny Harris were on target for the Darts, who are now just one win from securing the title.

Maidstone United boss Peter Nott apologised to the fans after the Stones lost 5-0 at home to Hastings at Homelands on Monday to leave them firmly in the relegation mire.

The Stones slipped to third-bottom and are now three points from safety, with just six games remaining after a dismal display, which saw Hastings seal the points with three goals in little over 10 minutes either side of the half.

Stones have lost five in a row in all competitions and are winless in nine games.

Tonbridge Angels and Margate played out a goalless draw at Longmead which did little to help the Angels play-off push or Gate's attempt to avoid the drop.

Angels are now two points outside the play-off places, but with a game in hand, while Margate are three points clear of the relegation zone, but have played two more games than the sides below them.

Cray Wanderers boosted their survival hopes with a fine 4-1 win at play-off chasing Sutton United.

Colin Luckett converted two penalties and Lewis Perkins and George Porter netted the others as the Wands secured their second win in three games to move seven points clear of the drop zone, though they have played a game more than their rivals.

Folkestone look set for a two-horse race for the Ryman League Division 1 South title after a 2-0 win over ChathamTown on Monday.

Second-half goals from Frankie Chappell and James Everitt helped Invicta remain one-point behind leaders Croydon, who defeated Chipstead 3-0, with six games remaining.

Third-placed Worthing lost 1-0 at Horsham YMCA and now lie five points behind Folkestone, having played a game more.

Ramsgate and AshfordTown played-out a goalless draw at Southwood.

The point moved Town three clear of the drop-zone, with four games in hand on the sides below them, while the Rams remain 12th.
