A 15-year-old girl who had been missing from home since for almost four weeks has returned safe and well.

Before she went missing, Sophie Rees was last seen by a friend at a bus stop in Bow Road Wateringbury, near Maidstone, on January 6.

She had made pone contact with her family and the police but there was still concern for her welfare.

Following a media appeal she has been returned to her parents and spoken to by police.
