Mobile crane cab fire causes M2 delays

The cab of a mobile crane has caught alight on the M2 coastbound carrigeway between junctions one and two.
Firefighters from Strood and Thames-side were called out to the burning vehilce at about 4.46pm and with the help of police closed the slip road at the Cuxton turn off, to put out the fire.
Traffic is slow as the emergency services deal with it, but the carriageway is still open.
