RAJAR figures show more people are listening to kmfm

More of you are tuning in to kmfm, the latest figures reveal.

Kent's only truly local radio station increased its audience for the second consecutive period, according to RAJAR.

The body for measuring radio audiences revealed kmfm recorded an average of 169,000 weekly listeners between October 2016 and March 2017.

That's up from 164,600 in the previous quarter.

The figures also show these listeners are tuning in for an average of 6.8 hours every week - a rise of 12% on the previous quarter.

Total listening hours for the network, which includes people listening via seven transmission areas and digitally (via DAB, app or kmfm.co.uk) now exceeds 1,155,000 - an increase of 15% on the previous quarter.

And there are plenty of reasons to tune in.

Over the next few weeks, kmfm are going to be sending you to some of the biggest gigs and concerts including Justin Bieber and Little Mix, and giving away camping passes to V Festival.

There will also be the chance to win £1,000 every morning with 'Say It' on Breakfast with Garry and Laura at 8am.
