Motorcyclist injured in crash

A 64-year-old motorcyclist was flown by air ambulance to a specialist London hospital after being involved in a head-on collision with a car.
The accident, involving a car and the motorbike happened just after 1pm on Thursday on the A20 near Leeds Castle.
Air ambulance crews landed the helicopter on the side of the road.
The impact of the crash destroyed the motorbike and the front wing of the car and air ambulance crews reported the rider had been thrown 20 yards from the car.
Crews transferred the rider, who sustained severe facial, pelvic and limb injuries to The Royal London Hospital, which is a specialist trauma centre.
