There's no point toying around – job hunters are being urged to apply for some 30 new posts at a new toy superstore opening soon in Aylesford.
And there may be more vacancies there later in the year.
The nationwide chain Smyths Toys Superstores has taken over the 15,500 sq ft former Bhs unit at South Aylesford Retail Park and plans to officially open on August 10. It is on the look out for staff ranging from retail assistants to management positions.
It’s all part of the company’s expansion programme of opening up to six new stores in the next 12 months. Currently it has 60 stores throughout the UK and Ireland including one at Westwood Cross, near Broadstairs.
Dryden Geary, marketing manager, said: “We look forward to offering customers the best range and quality of products, all available at the most competitive prices.”
He said the new store will provide fantastic employment opportunities for the local community.
