Now hear this! by kmfm's Johnny Lewis

I don't know if I am the next Doctor Who waiting to regenerate, because time is taking on strange dimensions in the breakfast show studio.
No matter what myself and the team get up to we seem to have less time - everything zips by so swiftly that a four-hour show appears to be gone in no time at all.
And why is that? No, it's not some inter-galactic baddie meddling with our clocks - it is you, dear listeners!
Let me explain - as the show gets more and more interactive, more and more of you are calling in, joining my Bathplug Club, taking on our on-air quizzes and challenges.
And that's before we have guests from all walks of life coming into the studio, ranging from community groups, schools and colleges, businesses, event organisers, musicians and actors, sportmen and women - anybody who needs to get their message across is always welcome to contact me for a quick spot on the show.
Because that's what breakfast with the lad is all about - in all my years broadcasting I have been a great believer in making my programme, your programme.
And that is borne out by the regular callers and new visitors to our airwaves from all over Kent. We get right to the heart of all our local communities, whether it's Newington, the Dane Valley, the villages right across Thanet and beyond, towards Canterbury and Herne Bay and Sandwich and Deal.
The reach of the breakfast show is well and truly spreading, and I am pleased we are getting increasingly involved on such a scale while at the same time remaining truly local in your street, in your town. That's the beauty of our show.
Now where's my sonic screwdriver?
