Now Hear This, by kmfm's Johnny Lewis

One of my favourite parts of my job as a radio presenter is meeting people from all different walks of life.
It gives me a real insight into the worlds of others and this time of year I am particularly busy attending a range of community events in the run up to Christmas.
I am delighted to have been asked back to the Shaw Trust in Pysons Road, Ramsgate, to meet the gang there again and have a look at the excellent work they do. I am also giving them a talk.
And as you know, I do love to chat. So it comes as no surprise that I am also giving the Ramsgate Rotary Club chaps a talk about radio, past and present, which I will thoroughly enjoy.
And this leads me neatly on to our annual trip to the offshore radio convention in Amsterdam where it will be great to catch up with some of my old mates from the days of Radio Caroline and LAser 558 where I was one of the first presenters on board. I will be holding a question and answer session there with enthusiasts who come along to the convention, and I will also be giving a little talk. I expect I will have a beer or two, as it is customary for the lad to grace these occasions with a celebratory tipple.
And with Halloween fast approaching I would be glad to hear from listeners what their suggestions are for a spooky special on The Vinyl Years - but don't dare mention The Monster Mash. That old chestnut needs to be exorcised!
