We’ve got a great game coming up on Saturday and Millwall will be looking to avenge the defeat we inflicted on them earlier in the season not to mention the fact that they are chasing second place.

We have our own goals, though, and will be fighting our corner ferociously.

I know, with the army of fans we’ll be taking, we will put on a united front and go there with every chance of coming away on top.

We picked up three points from the Easter weekend. We were looking for all six and at half-time against Oldham it looked like we would get the first three under our belts.

In the first half we dominated and with a better final ball and finishing we would almost certainly have had the lead at the break. We couldn’t manage that, though, and Oldham came out stronger in the second half to score from their only real chance. That left us chasing the game and unfortunately we couldn’t match the first-half performance and get a result.

It left us with a huge game to play on Monday against Southend. In a game which is already a bit of a derby, there were three massive points at stake.

Dennis Oli and Barry Fuller were welcomed back into the team and they helped ignite us again and take three deserved points. We could have been a couple up at half-time but it wasn’t to be.

We needed the first goal to settle us and after a great run by Curtis, he forced the keeper to parry the ball to Den, who tucked the ball away well to send us on our way.

Another welcome face was Simeon coming on for Den and immediately having an impact by sliding Rene in and he finally got off the mark after coming close twice on Saturday and many times before that.

We rounded things off with a great goal. I put Barch in a bit of trouble but as usual he wriggled out of it somehow and scampered off, then exchanged passes with Curt, before finishing nicely and seeing us climb up the table.

The aerial thief is still at large. Scott Barrett’s aerial has now disappeared and he’s placed the blame at Barchy’s door. Andy has denied all knowledge and without hard evidence Scott’s investigations continue. See you on Saturday
