Oliver Lee's future at Gillingham in doubt
14:21, 16 April 2012
West Ham youngster Oliver Lee could be heading back to Upton Park this weekend after his loan deal expired on Saturday.
The 20-year-old midfielder (pictured)has barely been involved in the last month, after the Gills extended his stay for a second spell in the middle of March.
A late substitute appearance in the game at Oxford on Saturday was his first showing since the home game with Crawley on March 20.
Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler was due to talk with the player over the weekend before announcing his decision.
Hessenthaler said: "I don’t want to go public on it until I have spoken to the lad."
Lee, who will be a free agent in the summer, has made seven appearances for the Gills in the last two months including four starts.
