A Kent MP says athletes representing Britain at the Olympics this summer should know the words to the national anthem - but how well do you know them?
We hit the streets to find out how patriotic people in Kent are after sports minister Hugh Robertson, who is also the MP for Faversham and Mid Kent, made the claim.
He was speaking after a press conference at which US-born hurdler Tiffany Porter was asked to say or sing the words to God Save the Queen.
The 24-year-old, who is captain of the British athletics team for the World Indoor Championships, declined - but insisted she did know the words.
Mr Robertson said: "If you're going to represent Britain at the Olympics then I think it is sensible to know the words of the national anthem.
"I would say that would be even more necessary if you think you are going to win a medal."
KentOnline spoke to people in Maidstone town centre this morning.
Most agreed British Olympians should be able to sing along to the national anthem - even though many of them admitted they could not remember the words themselves.
You can listen to some of their attempts at reciting the anthem below.
