Jo Kuffour has urged Bristol Rovers and Gillingham to get a deal done quickly so he can stay at Priestfield long term.
Kuffour, pictured, finishes his loan spell from Rovers after Friday's game at Dagenham & Redbridge, but he doesn’t want his time at Gillingham to end prematurely.
The striker's goals helped beat League 2 leaders Crawley on Boxing Day and he boasts an impressive record of seven in 12 appearances for the Gills.
"I just want a deal sorted out as soon as possible," said the 30-year-old.
"I have one more game to go, against Dagenham. All I can do is play well in my next game and hopefully the off-the-field matters can get sorted out.
"It’s out of my hands, so hopefully the clubs can agree something because I am loving it here. I am loving the club and the fans, the management and enjoying my football again."
