Pets are for life, animal lovers reminded

THE RSPCA is sending out its annual warning that pets are for life, not just for Christmas.
More people have taken the charity's advice resently and are thinking twice before buying a pet for Christmas.
But the RSPCA is still experiencing problems with abandoned family pets.
