THE daughter of a man who went missing two weeks ago is making a desperate appeal for him to make contact.
John Edwards, 51, of Chatham Hill, Chatham, disappeared on Tuesday, August 7 without the pills he needs every day to treat his heart problems and angina.
Now his daughter, Rachel Cooper, 21, is begging him to make contact with her, even if he does not want to return to his wife, Betty.
"My parents have had a lot of financial problems and they argued a lot recently. I think he just wanted to escape but I miss him terribly.
"I just hope he's well.
"We have contacted all the relatives and the police have checked his medical records but he doesn't seem to have seen a doctor."
Mr Edwards worked at RHM frozen foods packing pies but he didn't turn up for work on August 7.
"He was supposed to go to work that morning but he had a massive row with my mother and stormed out."
Anyone who can help should contact the police on 01634 884252.
