Police appeal after break-in at riding stables

POLICE are appealing for information after an attempted burglary at a stables in Cliffe.
The incident happened between 8pm on Monday and 7.30am on Tuesday at The Barn Riding Stables, Cooling Common, Cliffe.
The livery yard was broken into, items moved around and six of the ponies turned loose from their boxes.
Police are advising horse owners to review the security of the premises in an effort to make life harder for the thief and help them reclaim stolen property if seized by police. Tips include:
