Police scour the scene for clues

Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported serious sexual assault in Folkestone on Saturday night.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen a black man walking in Cheriton Park with two young white women between 10.45pm and 11.30pm.

They are especially keen to trace two men who offered to help the distressed women in Stanley Road following the incident.
