Police investigate workshop blaze

ABOUT 40 firefighters spent more than two hours tackling a fire at an industrial estate. Two crews from Thames Side fire station and one from Dartford were called to the blaze in a workshop in Stonebridge Road, Northfleet, at 10.34pm Friday.
They were joined by crews from Swanscombe and Medway. The cause of the fire is not known, but police are investigating the possibility of arson.
