Police name man killed in M-way crash

A 43-year-old man from Kent has died in a pile-up on the M1 near Northampton, it was revealed today.
Colin Pepper, from Well Road in Rushenden, near Sheerness, died on Tuesday, along with another man from Luton. The crash involved six heavy goods vehicles. Four other motorists, all male, were injured.
The motorway was closed between junction 16 and 18 for more than six hours during early morning rush hour traffic while police cleared the wreckage.
