A Kent Police officer has been dismissed for not declaring they were dismissed from the Army for taking drugs.
The officer, who has only been identified as PC 13613 Ball, appeared in front of a disciplinary board.
The panel heard the officer had previously been sacked from the Army after failing a compulsory drugs test.
They did not tell the force when applying for their job.
The panel found the officer guilty of "Gross Misconduct – Breach of the Standards of Professional Behavior relating to Honesty & Integrity and Discreditable Conduct".
They were dismissed without notice.
