Police probe bungalow blaze

DETECTIVES are treating as arson a fire which destroyed a bungalow at Leysdown on Sheppey last month.
Police spokeswoman Sally Farrell said officers were investigating the fire which caused damage estimated at £80,000 to the empty, uninsured home at Nutts Avenue. on April 30.
The property had been sold at auction several months ago. Neighbours raised the alarm just before 10pm on April 30 after smoke and flames were seen pouring from the building.
