THE Romney Marsh Countryside Project will be working the Orgarswick Pond in Dymchurch, near Hythe, tomorrow (Friday).

The organisation is returning to the site which they helped clear back in 1997. The pond is home to a large colony of the rare Great Crested Newt and Small Red Damselflies have also been spotted there.

These Dragonflies have only colonised Britain in the last four years from the continent. If you would like to join in, meet at Orgarswick Farm at 10.45am.

Pick-ups are available at the WCCP's Dover office at 9.30am, Folkestone Central Railway at 10am, The Watersedge Pub, Hythe at 10.15am and the Ocean Inn Dymchurch at 10.30am. Telephone 01797 367934 for more details.
