Enjoying the sun and in the mood to pucker up?
Well, those in charge of promoting Kent are asking for a kiss from you!
Visit Kent is challenging Kent residents to send "kisses" to friends, family or fellow travellers around the world this weekend.
From today, and throughout the weekend, you're being asked to share your selfie taken at any location in Kent - adding the hashtag #KissesFromKent.
So, the #KissesFromKent selfies can be taken while you're out on a country walk, at a tourist attraction, enjoying great local food and drink, sunbathing or skimming stones on the beach, or dancing at a festival.
Simply do the following:
- Take a great selfie or photo of yourself somewhere in Kent, blowing a kiss to the camera or sharing a kiss with someone, or something!
- Remember to show off your location or what you're up to in The Garden of England
- Share your pic on Twitter with #KissesFromKent along with a positive message.
Visit Kent will monitor the hashtag and retweet messages, and tourism attractions across Kent have agreed to join the campaign and will be sharing their own images.
Visit Kent chief executive Sandra Matthews-Marsh MBE said: "#KissesFromKent is all about the people sharing happy, positive messages about our county with friends, family or even strangers around the world.
"Kent is an incredible place to visit, and it is more important than ever that we all show the world what a wonderful, positive and creative destination we are."
