00:01, 22 February 2017
Commuters will face more disruption today as Southern train staff carry out their latest 24-hour strike.
The rail operator confirmed there will be no Rye to Ashford International shuttle services during the morning and evening peak hours, with 11 services affected.
However, the company says it does plan to operate most services between the town and Brighton.
Replacement bus services will run between Ashford, Rye, and Hastings.
Services to Gatwick Airport via London Victoria will not be affected.
Southern Rail says on its website: “You are advised to avoid travelling at peak times and to allow extra time for your journey if at all possible.
“Please allow plenty of time for your journey.”
