The Met Office has issued yet another thunderstorm warning, as more heavy rain is expected to batter the county.
Despite highs of 30C today, forecasters predict thunder and lightning will hit Kent this evening - with the potential to cause power cuts and flooding.
The yellow weather warning will remain in place between 4pm this afternoon and 3am tomorrow.
The Met Office said: "While many places will miss the heaviest rain, thunderstorms are likely to affect parts of east and south east England during Tuesday afternoon and particularly into the evening.
"Frequent lightning may occur along with heavy rain, large hail and sudden strong gusts of wind."
Between 20mm and 30mm of rain could fall in just an hour, so it might finally be time to dig out your umbrella and enjoy a break from the heatwave.
Tomorrow, temperatures are expected to remain in the low 20s, with more showers set to strike on Thursday.
The Met Office has predicted slighter warmer, but cloudy weather at the weekend.
However, forecasters believe above-average temperatures could remain until October.
