Broadstairs-based at-home care provider Home Instead has organised a nostalgic afternoon at the Portland Centre, St Peter's Church, on Tuesday, July 14.

The free get-together will feature the music, comedy and entertainment of Tommy Trinder, Max Bygraves, Tony Hancock and the Kaye Sisters, plus musical bingo, lively singalongs and table top games.

Linda Johnson, director of Home Instead, said: "We're also catering for up to 50 guests, with some favourite recipes from the past on the menu.

"Elderly and retired singles, couples and groups in the St Peter's area are all welcome. I can guarantee it'll be a fascinating afternoon where new friendships will be made."

For more information, telephone Linda on 01843 862268 or email linda.johnson@homeinstead.co.uk.
