Ryan Briggs is aiming for a deal with Chatham Town while keeper Tony Kessell has also linked up with the side

Ryan Briggs and club captain Brad Potter scored for Chatham in their 2-1 win against player-manager Kevin Watson’s old club Maidstone United on Tuesday.
Potter wasn’t risked at the start because of a head wound, so Jason Barton led the side.
Briggs (pictured), who finished last season with Thamesmead, could have a part in Watson’s plans, while goalkeeper Tony Kessell looks set to start the season after linking up again with the Chats player-boss.
The pair were team-mates at Folkestone, and were also together as youngsters at Charlton.
Watson said: "Tony is a good friend, experienced and the right kind of character to have in the dressing room. It will be great for young Adam Molloy to work with him."
Chats are at home to another of Watson’s former teams, Welling United, on Saturday (KO 3pm).
