KENT Council Council's trading standards department is set for reality TV stardom after the launch of a new series on BBC 3.
With more than 20 years' experience, Trading Standards officer Jason Reilly thought he had experienced everything the job had to throw at him.
That was until the 41-year-old dad of three, from Maidstone, was picked as one of the main people to be featured on Scam Squad.
He said: "We just went about what we did and the camera crew followed us. I was a bit worried about how I would come across, but after a while it was quite easy to forget they were there."
The film crew stayed with the team, which is based in Kings Hill, West Malling, for around three months.
Adding a bit of glamour to the show is Gillian Powell, 23, from Larkfield who is also set to be one of the stars.
She said: "The first few days of filming were pretty nerve racking. Having a camera following me around wasn't something I was used to."
