Scuba diver's body found off coast

THE decomposed body of a scuba diver has been found off the coast at Dungeness. It was discovered by fishermen at about 4pm on Thursday.
The body was taken by lifeboat to Rye Harbour in Sussex. Police said the body was severely decomposed and it was not known whether it was male or female.
Inquires are being carried out in an attempt to identify the person who was wearing a diving suit, fins and a diving watch when found.
Police believe the identification process could take some time.
